Rajan Rao: Khattar Govt. Should take inspiration from Bhupesh Baghel government of Chhattisgarh
Rajan Rao: Congress state secretary Rajan Rao said that the courageous steps taken by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel, for the upliftment of the farmers and poor in the current situation is commendable. The Haryana government should also follow it.
In a press release, Rajan Rao said that the Chhattisgarh government has promised to give 13000 rupees per acre annually to the farmers. It is important to note that the farmers of Haryana are also facing the same problems, then due to the right time, the government will have to work on a similar model and bring a new scheme so that our poor farmers and laborers can remain financially strong at such times. Help in Not only this, the payment of the money should go directly to the farmers' account and not to the accounts of the jobbers.
Regarding the loan waiver, Rajan Rao demanded CM Khattar for the state that the government should forgive all the debts of the farmers. Also, electricity bills of farmers, small and medium enterprises (MSME) small shopkeepers and small scale industries should also be waived for the coming 6 months. Rajan Rao said that the Khattar government should pay their salaries to those registered in the MGNREGA suffering due to the lockdown.
Also, due to all this, the government will also have to keep in mind that when all these schemes should be implemented. Then their benefits could reach those people and these schemes should not be limited to papers.
